Planning a Fun & relaxed Session

Each family session is personalized to reflect your family’s unique bond. We’ll choose a meaningful location where everyone feels comfortable, setting the stage for natural interactions and heartfelt moments. With a focus on keeping things light and fun, my goal is to capture genuine smiles, laughter, and the beautiful connections that make your family special. And don’t worry—we’ll also be sure to get some classic shots of everyone looking at the camera for Grandma to treasure!

From planning your session to selecting the perfect prints and artwork, I’ll guide you every step of the way. For busy parents, I offer a complimentary ordering session to help design stunning displays and heirlooms that truly honor your family’s story. When our session ends, you won’t just have beautiful photos—you’ll have joyful memories from an experience your family will treasure.

Frequently AskeD Questions

To officially book your session, a $100 retainer fee is required, which is applied toward your session. You can reserve your date by selecting an available time on my calendar and completing the booking process. You can reserve directly online or fill out the contact form if you’re not quite ready to book.

Photography collections start at $400. Full pricing can be viewed on my Investment Page.

I recommend neutral, earthy tones and soft textures for a timeless and cohesive look. Coordinating colors (instead of everyone matching exactly) work beautifully in photos! Avoid busy patterns or logos that can be distracting. If you need help, I’m happy to offer wardrobe guidance!

I also have a curated client closet with many options for moms, babies, and toddlers, plus you’ll receive a Welcome Guide & a session planning guide to help you plan the perfect session for your family!

Absolutely! Your furry friends are a part of the family, I’d love to include them in a few photos. Just bring treats and a leash, and we’ll make it work!

Oregon weather can be unpredictable, but I always have a backup plan! We can reschedule if needed, or if you prefer, I also offer cozy studio sessions as an alternative.

First off—don’t stress! As a former teacher, I specialize in working with children and know how to create a relaxed, playful environment. I’ll guide them through fun, natural interactions to capture genuine smiles and moments of connection. And don’t worry—we’ll still get some great posed shots for Grandma!

Your proofing gallery will be ready within one-two weeks of your session. Once you select your favorite images you can easily download them from your gallery. Ordering prints and products is also easy to do from your gallery–please allow up to 3 weeks for delivery of your printed artwork.

Yes! I believe your memories deserve to be displayed beautifully. I offer heirloom-quality albums, fine art prints, and wall displays so you can enjoy your photos for years to come.

Yes! I want to make photos accessible to everyone. I offer payment plans through Klarna or Afterpay, so you can spread out payments. If you prefer to set up a payment plan directly with me, I’m happy to accommodate that as well—just let me know!
